Trude Marie Rauken

Trude Rauken is the Deputy Director for the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance (CNCA), where she leads the implementation of key Alliance strategies and programs. Prior to joining CNCA, Trude served as senior policy advisor on climate and energy to the City of Oslo where her main responsibilities were tied to implementing the City’s ambitious climate action plan and to leading the City’s international climate engagement. Prior to that, Trude worked as a senior researcher at the world leading climate research institute, CICERO Center for Climate Research. She brings expert knowledge on the local level government’s role and capacity in solving challenges coming from climate change and the importance of network collaboration. Trude says that “the world is local” whenever she gets the chance. She holds an MSc in Political Economy from BI Norwegian School of Management and a BA in Journalism and Communication from the University of Oregon.
