With a background in agri-business management, Tim has lived and worked in Italy, Austria & Germany where he first became involved in renewable energy, producing biodiesel from oilseed rape as long ago as 1991.  Now, with almost 30 years’ experience in Renewable Energy, Tim has worked throughout Central and Eastern Europe and more recently in Africa. He managed a team pioneering the development and installation of small-scale solar power & battery storage projects, providing power for rural communities, clinics and schools in sub-Saharan Africa.

Tim has developed over 40 combined heat & power and gas to grid projects in Biogas and Biomass, ranging in size from 150Kw to 50MW, with a combined value approaching £500m.  He also led the Innovate UK funded First of a Kind (FOAK) project, commercialising solar car parking technologies in the UK, which resulted in the installation of the UK’s largest solar carpark at Bentley Motors manufacturing facility in Cheshire. 3Ti is currently installing what will be the second largest solar carpark in the UK, in Bournemouth and by the end of the year, expects to have covered 3,000 parking spaces with over 6 MW of installed capacity across the UK.
